Book
"After the Storm" is a picture book for young children aged 1 to 3 years old. Parents and carers can use it to explore with them simple shapes found throughout the pages – from a circle-shaped sun to raindrops and even a flash of lightning. Children can also be encouraged to count the clouds or the raindrops as they appear.

The book introduces the different stages of weather using colour and a rhythmic narrative. The sun shines bright and yellow against a deep blue background, gradually disappearing as the pages darken to black. What will happen next?
Just like the weather, children sometimes go through transitions and challenging moments. "After the Storm" uses weather as a metaphor for emotions, reminding us that “after the storm, calm follows.” It helps young children develop resilience and become more aware of their own feelings – reassuring them that, even after difficult times, the sun will shine again.
