On 4 February 2026, I had the pleasure of leading a creative book activity session at Hornsey Library in North London. We enjoyed reading the book together, singing nursery rhymes, and the nursery children had great fun creating collages inspired by the story.
While babysitting S (aged 3), he created a collage of the sun by following the activity step by step.
D (aged 5) and A (aged 9) had great fun cutting and sticking, and enjoyed experimenting with
different background colours!
Baby E (11 months old) enjoys looking at the illustrations in the book and listening to the story.
His favourite part is the "pitter-patter" sound of the raindrops!
